The 22-year old actress has been seeing John Mayer in secret for more than two years, but now the pair have decided it’s time to come clean.

Janet Charlton reports that Kristin was reluctant to be seen in the open with John as she didn’t want to be a new notch on his famed Posture-Pedic. But after meeting at an unknown friend’s house in the Hollywood Hills since mid-2007 the pair have now acknowledged a connection and are said to be happy that their ’secret’ is out.

31-year old John is an ex-boyfriend of Jennifer Aniston…but let’s be honest, who isn’t??…and was still dating Jenn when he hooked up with Kristin.

So does this news mean Kristin is now headed for heartache? No-one is saying so you’ll have to decide.
